How ResQ relates to the independent service providers in its network — stated plainly, because it affects both the homeowner hiring the work and the provider performing it.
The ResQ League Home Services LLC is a home-service concierge and marketplace platform. Certain regulated contracting services are contracted and performed by appropriately licensed independent service providers unless The ResQ League Home Services LLC is separately licensed and qualified for that trade.
Preferred Providers are independent businesses
Providers in the ResQ League Preferred Provider Network are independent businesses. They are not employees, agents, partners, joint venturers or representatives of The ResQ League Home Services LLC. They set their own pricing, employ their own staff, carry their own licensing and insurance, and are responsible for the work they perform.
ResQ selects a provider for a job and coordinates the relationship around it. Selection is not a guarantee of any particular outcome, and it does not make ResQ the provider of the service.
Licensing and regulated work
Trades that Florida regulates — including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and pest control — require a state license to contract or perform. Those services are contracted and performed by providers who hold the applicable license, except where The ResQ League Home Services LLC is separately licensed and qualified for that specific trade.
Licensing and insurance are verified before a provider is dispatched and re-checked on a schedule. Verification is performed in good faith using the provider's own submissions and available public records. It is not a warranty, and it does not transfer responsibility for the work away from the provider who performed it.
Estimates, pricing and contracts
Where a license is required, the licensed provider performs the technical diagnosis, defines the scope, and issues the regulated estimate. Pricing for the work is set by the provider, not by The ResQ League Home Services LLC. Your contract for the work itself is with the provider.
Any ResQ membership or coordination fee is separate from the provider's charges for labor and materials, and is disclosed before you enroll.
For homeowners
ResQ exists to remove the guesswork from finding someone qualified. It does not replace your own judgement. We encourage you to review your provider's license and insurance, ask questions, and get the scope in writing before work begins — the same way you would with any contractor.
For providers
Joining the network does not create an employment, agency or partnership relationship with The ResQ League Home Services LLC. Compensation is success-based and governed by the Preferred Provider Agreement executed between your company and ResQ. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer of employment or a franchise.
